FUNDRAISING
Our team are working hard to produce a series of events across the academic year to support a charity called Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide. We will be following the social distancing guidelines introduced by the government to hold our events to support this great cause.

01
Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide
Around 5 billion people worldwide lack access to surgical and anaesthetic care, mainly in the developing world. Many die or are left severely disabled or in pain as a result.
02
In some countries, a woman’s lifetime risk of dying in childbirth is as high one in eleven. Millions of mothers and newborns die due to complications during childbirth, whose lives could be saved by Caesarean sections if safe anaesthesia were available.

03
Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide ensures the benefits of anaesthesia are available wherever needed so that patients can receive the treatment they need, safely and painlessly.
